The club's most successful women's team from CE Mediterrani is the second in their Champions League participation finished 7th Place in 1997. Als grösster Erfolg der Damen-Mannschaft von CE Mediterrani gilt der bei ihrer zweiten Champions-League-Teilnahme belegte 7. Platz im Jahre 1997. Der Traditionsverein aus der katalanischen Hauptstadt Barcelona war von 1989 bis 1999 lediglich mit Ausnahme von 1991 spanischer Serienmeister. Der letzte nationale Meistertitel wurde 2003 errungen. Von 1997 bis 2000 sowie letztmals im Jahre 2003 gewann man zudem den spanischen Pokal. Den regionalen, aber aufgrund der teilnehmenden Mannschaften sehr prestigeträchtigen katalanischen Pokal, die Copa Catalunya, konnte man zuletzt im Herbst 2008 gewinnen. Hier schlug man den amtierenden spanischen Serienmeister CN Sabadell im Halbfinale mit 10:9 und im Finale CN Mataro, den Hohenlimburgern von der vor zwei Wochen ausgespielten LEN-Trophy Qualifikationsrunde noch bestens in Erinnerung, mit 15:2.

Auch international ist der mehrmalige LEN-Trophy- und Champions-League-Teilnehmer kein unbeschriebenes Blatt im Damen-Wasserball, auch wenn es hier noch zu keinem Titel reichte. Im Frühjahr dieses Jahres schied man erst im Viertelfinale der LEN-Trophy recht knapp gegen den griechischen Vertreter Olympiacos SC aus (Hinspiel 8:12, Rückspiel 12:11). In der Tabelle der spanischen Liga belegt der CE Mediterrani derzeit punktgleich mit den beiden Erstplatzierten den dritten Tabellenplatz und unterstreicht damit seine Ambitionen eindrucksvoll.
